I've just spent another hour enjoying some of the hundreds of entries in the Blogger's Quilt Festival . If you haven't checked it out yet, you're missing out on some beautiful quilts and, in many cases, some very touching quilt stories. Highly recommended for quilters and non-quilters alike! :o) And in the spirit of quilt-sharing, I thought it was time I got back to posting about some of the projects I've been working on lately. I took quite a long quilting hiatus this summer, but once the kids and I got back into the school routine, I finally ventured back into the sewing room. Since that day, I've hardly had a chance to come up for air (not that I haven't been enjoying it!) As a result, I have several new projects to share over the next few days and weeks -- assuming I can stay away from the sewing machine long enough to post. Finished my niece's wedding gift today, a cheerful blue and yellow sampler quilt made from a 2007 block-of-the-month project: Lacey and Benjamin, may your life together be richly blessed...
