Word-Filled Wednesday: Psalm 127:3

This is my beautiful daughter on the day of her baptism, just over eighteen years ago. She's a young woman now, embarking on her greatest journey in life. A journey none of us would have chosen for her at this time, or in these circumstances, but we rest in the knowledge that God, in his infinite wisdom, has a plan. This fall she will be blessed with a baby of her own, joining me in all the joy and heartache that is motherhood. So we go forth in faith, put our questions and doubts aside, and look forward to the reward of this new little one in our lives.

"Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, The fruit of the womb is a reward." ~ Psalm 127:3

The purpose of Word filled Wednesday is to share God’s word through photos and a verse! Click on the logo above for more Word-Filled inspiration.

What a sweet photo - and the Scriputre passage you have chosen for it is perfect.
Sometimes we do just have to put our doubts aside and trust in Him to lead us - He knows our path :)

Thank you so much for sharing.

Blessings to you and yours...

What a beautiful picture of your precious daughter. The years pass by way too quickly don't they?! I know what you mean about not having chosen the path but accepting it and moving forward. After all, it isn't our plan, it is God's. Never let go of Romans 8:28! Good luck to you and your girl, God will take you both through it!

First, I'm SO EXCITED for you for becoming a Grandma! You are right in saying that things don't always happen as we plan or think they should. If it's a trial that GOD allowed, then we accept it and move forward. (We just lost our 11 year old son a year ago to cancer)

If it's something that we bring on ourselves.. then we PRAISE GOD that HIS WORD tells us that HE forgives us when we confess those sins to HIM.

1 John 1:9 (New Living Translation)
9 But if we confess our sins to Him, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.

I say that because I have gotten myself into so many messes when I tried to "walk alone." I'm just SO THANKFUL that we serve a mighty and LOVING GOD who shows favor and mercy to HIS children.

Now, that picture of your daughter is just BEAUTIFUL!! (I always wanted a girl.. I had 3 sweet boys though! We're TRULY BLESSED!) Can't wait to see the pictures of the grand baby! =-)

Have a GREAT DAY!
Love,
Tonya

How very beautiful! You found just the perfect verse for the photo and this time of your life and your daughter's life. A newborn is precious. I remember when I told my dad that we were having a baby and he said "he is already loved." It meant so much to me. I tell our son often how much his grandpa loved him so that he won't ever forget how much he has always been loved and wanted. Our son has been our reward indeed.
Wishing all of you the very best.
