I've had a lot of fun reminiscing over my photo albums lately, so for this week's Photo Hunt theme -- heavy -- I chose this one from 1988, my brother and his daughter, building an awesome snowman. If you've ever built a snowman, you know these were some heavy snowballs!
Today that little girl in the red snowsuit is 26-years-old, a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, and currently serving in Iraq. We're so proud of her!
Happy Photo Hunting!

Oh yes those snow balls can be very heavy. (and they can hurt if your hit by one) Yours came out so nice and tall.
Heavy snowman, indeed! It's great to have Dad helping, otherwise you don't get to make very big ones.
Mine's up, too.
I hope she has a copy of that magnificent last photo. It brought tears to my eyes.
My Photo Hunt — Heavy is here. Thank you.
Wow, great idea! And it brought back some memories for you, too. :D
Cute pictures for heavy!
Awesome shots! Sure it's heavy:)
I love the pic of the little one in front of that great big snowman.
Thanks for sharing.
Waving at you from New York
Excellent shots! We built many a snowman when I was a kid. Your niece has my profound thanks for her service. We ask God to bless and keep them safe, daily.
I'm sure it's a heavy one. I never did such a huge and heavy snowman yet.
Mine is posted too.
What a great pic! I used to love making snowmen, we didn't get to make any as big as that though :)
Great photos! I haven't built a big snowman since I was a kid. With all the snow we've had recently, we should build one again. Great memories!
That second photo is precious. She certainly is in a different environment now. My daugher was in Iraq in 2004 - no time for making snow men there! I would visit your blog just to see the header - it is just a great picture.
What great memories! I am proud of all the service men and women who have served this country. Have a good weekend.
Great pics - you have some lovely memories there. Have a wonderful weekend!
Great
Hope she is doing fine in Iraq
That's heavy! Wonderful memories.
